Bombay Original Dry Gin 1761 is comparable to the world-famous Bombay Sapphire. Bombay Sapphire uses 10 botanicals, while Bombay Original uses only 8. Bombay Original's recipe dates back to 1761, making it a very old gin. Like Bombay Sapphire, the bottle is rectangular, but made of clear glass. Like Sapphire, Bombay Dry Gin was produced by Bacardi, making it "a perfect product."

Taste : It still tastes the same as it did three centuries ago. You could compare it to an old jenever. The Bombay is flavored with just eight different herbs, and the steam infusion method is also used. Spanish almonds, lemon peel, licorice, juniper berries, orris root, angelica root, coriander, and cassia bark impart their aromas and notes to the gin, resulting in a rich and deep flavor. And a finish so smooth, it feels like it just slides down your throat.
