Description
Roku Gin is a Japanese premium gin distilled at the "Liquor Atelier", a specialized distillery of Suntory Spirits.
The distillery has four different types of pot stills. Botanicals are distilled separately to create the most flavor while also preserving the individual character of the botanicals.
For example, for the cherry blossoms they use vacuum distillation in stainless steel stills, while for the yuzu they use copper stills.
A total of 14 different botanicals were used, 6 of which are typically Japanese, such as Sakura flowers, Sakura leaves, Yuzu zest, Sencha tea (green tea), Gyokuro tea and Sanshō pepper.
