Fever-Tree originated in the United Kingdom in early 2005. The brand name was chosen because Fever-Tree is the informal name for the Cinchona tree, which contains quinine, the basic ingredient in tonic water.
The highest-quality quinine comes from Rwanda, Congo, and is blended with spring water and eight ingredients, including rare botanicals such as marigold extract and sour orange from Tanzania. This tonic is characterized by its absence of artificial sweeteners, preservatives, and flavors.
