Description
Brecon Special Edition Gin originates from Wales. It is produced in the same distillery as Penderyn whisky. Some of the botanicals used include juniper berries, orange zest, cassia, licorice, coriander, nutmeg, lemon zest, and orris root.
Building on the success of the Brecon Special Reserve, Wales' Penderyn Distillery has developed this stronger Brecon Botanicals, featuring eight botanicals from around the world.
This gin also starts with pure grain alcohol and after distillation only pure water from the Brecon Beacons National Park is added.
The nose opens with juniper berry and citrus notes of lemon, orange, and bergamot. Spices like cinnamon, cloves, and saffron emerge on the palate. The finish is elegant and inviting .
