Hendrick's Orbium Gin 43.4° 0.7L

Orbium is a new expression of Hendrick's, created by master distiller Lesley Gracie. Lesley is known for her unbridled curiosity and undeniable talent for developing new, unexpected flavors from an inexhaustible source of botanicals (herbs and spices). Thus, Orbium was born from a natural yet profound curiosity, fueled by recent liquid discoveries in the cocktail industry.

Orbium, first and foremost, contains the same distillates that make up the trusted Hendrick's Gin. However, the same unique spirit that broke with the age-old gin conservatism by adding natural infusions of cucumber and rose petals to the gin has now chosen a completely different path. This course is determined by using flavors iconic to the most classic gin cocktails: quinine, known from the tonic in a G&T, and wormwood (artemisia absinthium) from the vermouth in a Martini. But that doesn't make Orbium. The addition of blue lotus flower balances the holy trinity of infusions, and combined, they create a gin with a complex and deep character and a surprisingly pure taste that lingers in a lengthy finish. Unconventional and uniquely familiar in character, designed to explore undiscovered dimensions of gin and disappear into a spiral of floral and alluringly bitter notes.
