Ron Barceló was founded by Julian Barceló, a Spanish emigrant born in Mallorca. He established the company in 1930 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It quickly became a benchmark among rum brands and quickly grew into one of the largest and most prestigious Dominican companies. Ron Barceló is currently exported to over 50 countries.
