Description

Laphroaig Quarter Cask takes its inspiration from the small casks often used for whisky production in the 19th century.
The industry grew so much that they were no longer needed. But as single malt enthusiasts know, the relationship between a cask and maturing whisky is crucial.
So we decided to produce Quarter Casks again to get back that wonderful taste that comes from it.
We've transferred the maturing Laphroaig from our large casks into Quarter Casks. This will then be followed by several more maturation periods in our most prestigious cellar.

To preserve the authenticity of this whisky, we filter it like in the "good old days" and bottle it at a higher alcohol content.
