The Macallan The Harmony Collection Inspired by Honey Orcid Tea "Jing" - 43.9% 70Cl

This is the fifth edition of The Macallan's Harmony Collection, developed in collaboration with JING Tea. It is inspired by the rare Phoenix Honey Orchid oolong tea from the Phoenix Mountains in Guangdong, China.

Produced as a single malt Scotch whisky , matured primarily in sherry-seasoned American oak casks, with additions of sherry-seasoned European oak and a subtle addition of ex-bourbon American oak casks.

Nose

Fruity notes of peach and apricot , sweetened with floral honey , tropical fruit, toffee and sweet oak

Taste

Rich fruitiness like peach in syrup , warm citrus, light floral notes, and a subtle “tea-like” structure (leafy astringency)

Aftertaste

Long, complex finish with fruity, sweet and floral elements, with a slight dryness
