The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Years is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky, and its character comes from maturation in two specific types of casks (double wood). This whisky is first matured for at least 12 years in old bourbon casks and then for a further nine months in former Oloroso sherry casks made of Spanish oak. The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Years is sweet with notes of honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and a delicate sherry note.

Notes of sweet and Oloroso Sherry, finished with a hint of honey and vanilla.

MOUTH
A creamy and smooth Single Malt that perfectly combines the softness of hazelnut, the spice of cinnamon with a delicate touch of sherry.
