Chivas Regal 12 Year Old is a whisky with the characteristic Speyside character: rich, luxurious, and refined. A blend of various malt and grain whiskies results in a well-balanced top whisky. As with all Chivas Regal whiskies, the heart of the 12 Year Old is the single malt Strathisla. A smooth whisky with a beautiful, rich aroma. All whiskies have matured for at least 12 years. The exact proportions are a closely guarded secret and the recipe is closely guarded. A whisky with the soft aromas of sherry accompanied by the scent of heather mixed with red fruit and a hint of spice. The influence of ripe apple is a recurring element in the taste, surrounded by soft smoke, vanilla, and sweet honey. Hints of hazelnut and butterscotch gently work their way forward! The finish of Chivas Regal is quite long and smooth, perfectly complementing the overall palate.
