Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin is an Irish gin made with the oriental plant gunpowder. It's a refreshing gin with a delicate citrus flavor and spicy notes of gunpowder extract, grapefruit, and the North American flower meadowsweet. The gin is the result of passionate explorations through the wild and untouched landscapes from Drumshanbo to China!
Gunpowder refers to the tea used for this gin. Gunpowder tea is a green tea that was dried very slowly.
This provides a very full flavour and a spicy herbal note.
Ingredients: Juniper berry, angelica root, orris root, caraway seed, coriander seed, meadowsweet, cardamom, star anise, lemon, lime, grapefruit, gunpowder tea
Taste & aroma: A fine citrus flavour and spicy notes
Garnish: Slice of grapefruit
Tonic: Neutral tonic such as Fever-Tree Mediterranean
