Description

This Laphraoig is made from expertly selected casks of whiskies in our own house style, where the past lives on.
The heart of Select is created by a final maturation in new American oak casks, rarely used for Scotch whisky.

For the last six months, during the Scottish summer, Select matures in the highest, warmest locations in our warehouses. Our master distiller selected our Quarter Cask, PX Cask, and Triple Wood (European oak casks) and finally added 10-year-old oak to create a subtle blend of peat, oak, and sweetness.
