Description
Saffron Gin is based on a lost and rediscovered recipe from French colonists in India. The Gabriel Boudier microdistillery is reviving the recipe. The recipe is typical of the colonial era: a gin with exotic botanicals, bursting with flavor and intense aromas. Saffron Gin is handcrafted in small batches using saffron. An unusual ingredient for a gin, if you ask us.
Taste & Aroma : Saffron Gin has a deep orange color and an aroma of orange and mandarin with subtle notes of juniper. It offers a soft mouthfeel and a subtle, slightly lingering saffron flavor.
Ingredients: juniper berries, coriander, lemon, orange peel, angelica root, iris root, fennel, saffron
Custom tonic: don't, but drink it neat (with some coffee beans)!
