Description
The Naked Grouse is a beautiful brown whisky with an exceptional flavor. Distilled by Famous Grouse and bottled in a very appropriate bottle, given its virtually label-less neck and the transparent sticker on the back, somewhat naked. The blend has been matured in first-fill sherry casks for a very accessible whisky. A blend with soft and delicious fruity notes of cherry compote with a crisp edge of buttered toast. Complemented by a creamy mouthfeel of vanilla custard with peaches . It is clear that the sherry casks have left a distinct impression with the many fruity notes. The taste is also reflected in this, with many scattered flavors of raisins and Raspberry jam , accompanied by toffee pudding and savory cake. Even the finish is influenced by various fruity notes, but is then further enriched by a slightly bitter hint of Cocoa and oak. Not unpleasant, but certainly surprising! Finishing on a slightly smoky note. This naked grouse has an alcohol content of 40%.
