Description
ORIGIN: Thomas Henry was a renowned pharmacist in Manchester in 1773, as it says on the neck of the bottle. And like most pharmacists, he loved to experiment. Thank God, because this led him to be one of the founders of the first carbonated soft drink. Perhaps without Thomas Henry, we would never have enjoyed our favorite gin and tonic. Today, Thomas Henry is a German company that, based in Berlin, makes the hearts of many bartenders beat faster. After all, Berlin knows how to throw a party, and they're only too happy to share that with the rest of the world. Sebastian Brack and Norman Stievert are the driving forces behind Thomas Henry all these years later. They aren't pharmacists, but they are lemonade enthusiasts and, it must be said, true marketing experts. They managed to keep their recipe secret, and at the end of 2010, they launched their tonic water, among other things.
INGREDIENTS natural mineral water, sugar, carbonated water, citric acid, cinchona bark quinine extract
TASTE AND AROMA: Thomas Henry Tonic Water is full-bodied, to say the least. The exceptionally high quinine content gives the drink its characteristic bitter taste. However, the tonic doesn't linger for long and is refreshing, clean, and surprisingly smooth. A mature tonic with added freshness. The cinchona bark quinine extract gives Thomas Henry Tonic Water its unique character.
