Gin Mare is made with the highest-quality botanicals and herbs, all selected from the Mediterranean region. They are distilled separately in a village on the Costa Dorada, Vilanova i la Geltrù, and—to make the whole thing even more idyllic—in a picturesque chapel. The estate where Gin Mare is produced once served as a refuge for monks. In 1950, the Giro Ribot family purchased this estate to house their growing business. In 1940, they launched MG Gin, now a real hit in Spain. Later, in 2007, they decided to partner with Global Premium Brands, who had considerably more marketing experience than the Ribot brothers, and set to work developing a new gin. Gin Mare was born in 2008 after numerous experiments with various herbs and spices. In 2012, the brand launched a new bottle.

Taste & aroma : A spicy nose reminiscent of a damp forest full of tomato plants, accompanied by subtle aromas of rosemary and black olives. A full-bodied palate bursts with juniper berries and coriander before transitioning to a bitter finish with spicy notes of thyme, rosemary, and basil. The slightly bitter finish has hints of green olives, cardamom, and basil. This super-premium gin has a unique character and a balance unlike any other gin on the market.
