Description
The Moueix family (of the JP Moueix trading house) has invested considerable effort and marketing in this estate, which is now their flagship winery in Pomerol. The 18.7 hectares of vineyards on the plateau offer them a wide selection for this blend of 91% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc. With age, this wine has become fresher and more precise. The 2016 vintage is also ripe and silky smooth with hints of plums, graphite, minerals, and smoke. A sophisticated wine, very balanced and refined, which will undoubtedly continue to evolve beautifully with age.
