Description
This small cru of Pomerol, approximately 8 hectares, is located next to the Pomerol church and is a neighbor of Ch l'Eglise Clinet. The terroir consists primarily of clay stones. In 1917, this cru belonged to the same owner as Ch Petrus (Mrs. Edmonde Loubat), and was subsequently donated by her niece (Mrs. Lacoste) to a charitable organization. Since 1963, this cru has been managed as a farm by Jean-Pierre Moueix, also the owner of Ch Hosanna, Trotanoy, and many other Pomerols. Aficionados know that in certain vintages, this cru can rival its renowned neighbors on the Pomerol plateau.
