This muscular and powerful red wine is made from the Monastrell grape, known as Mourvèdre in France. It's a small grape with a fairly thick skin. The wines from it are quite distinctive: full-bodied, powerful, and with a distinct bouquet. The aroma is particularly remarkable and is often described as reminiscent of meat, game, or leather. To compensate, there are pleasant fruity aromas, such as dark blackberry. And thanks to the four-month fermentation in oak barrels, there are also distinct notes of cedar and light vanilla.
