Plantation Rum was founded in 1997 by Frenchman Gabriel Alexandre. It is an independent bottler of Caribbean rums bottled in various ways. Its double aging method is unique. After tropical aging in bourbon barrels, a second aging takes place in Europe, primarily in its own cognac barrels.
